Congratulations to Class of 2001 Alumni, Lydia Boyd, and her husband Michael, for taking out the 'Best Small Seafood Business' at the WA Seafood Industry Awards.
The two of them originally met while in the Navy, and then decided 15 years ago, to take a risk on a small fish van in Singleton. That small fish van is now an extremely successful business, The Fisho.
When they first started the business, both were working their Navy jobs while working weekends in the fish van, but their hard work has paid off, creating a successful award winning business.
Lydia said what drives her is the time she heard someone say 'I'm not buying fish from a fish van'. Her aim is to convert everyone! Congratulations to Lydia and Michael.
