Frederick Irwin at Christ's Church Mandurah
On Sunday 19 June, the Anglican Parish of Mandurah held their first combined service with Frederick Irwin Anglican School.
This was a momentous occasion, with our Prefects taking turns to present readings, and some of our talented musicians performing during Communion.
The Official Address was presented by our Principal, Mrs Tracey Gray, who highlighted how proud she was of the strong relationship between the School and the Anglican church. In 1994, FIAS donated a beautiful stain glass window, of Jesus with children, to the Church, a symbol of our long-standing relationship.
Many FIAS families were present, and Reverend James Tabor acknowledged the students who took part, and their proud representation of the School.
The Anglican Church also presented a donation of a child's violin, that was handed to Mrs Gray and the Performing Arts department, to be used by a family of the School.
Thank you to Reverend Ian Mabey for inviting the School to take part in this service, we look forward to this partnership growing from strength-to-strength.
