From the Deputy Head of Primary - Meadow Springs (Issue 17, 2023)
Dear Parents and Carers
All systems are a go in Meadow Springs - Choir excursions, Pageants, House Captain voting, Arts and Sports Captain interviews. A special congratulations to Maggie Moore, Nicholas Tarrosa from Meadow Springs, and Andrew Guo, Lena Walters from halls Head for serving our two campuses as School Councillors 2023. These four students worked closely with the Youth Development Team and staff from the City of Mandurah.
It was a busy year for them organising kids teaching kids events, wellness Wednesday, and creating an anti-vape rap! Last Thursday we enjoyed our graduating ceremony and celebrated the achievements made. All students gave a reflective speech with Maggie sharing this powerful message:
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it's the only thing that ever has."
-Margaret Mead.
As we head to the finish line let's all finish well - together.
