Halls Head Campus Inter-School Cross Country
On Wednesday 24 July, the Halls Head Campus sent a team of 29 students to compete in Division B of the PSSA Interschool Cross Country Carnival.
Our students had a mixture of excitement and nerves as they lined up to compete against 8 other schools from around the Peel region. The standard of running from our team was fantastic and enhanced greatly by the support of their peers and families supporting from the sideline.
I truly believe each runner found an extra gear to run harder when they heard how much support they were getting as they ran past our vocal support crew.
It was a great day with some outstanding results:
- 1st Place Year 6 Girl- Abbi Conkling
- 3rd Place Year 6 Boy- Isaac Abuhagiar
- 1st Place Year 5 Girl- Masha Novoselskaia
- 3rd Place Girl Year 4 Girl- Danica Sayer
- 2nd Place Year 4 Boy- Ewan El Jaouhar
Place ribbons were also awarded to Bronte Taylor, Joshua Abuhagiar, Lachlan Hannam, Monty Stokes, Indigo Summers and Xavier Lunt.
We finished with 4th Place overall, which was a testament to the team’s effort. Well done to all of our students for representing our school in the manner that you did, we couldn’t be prouder.
