Halls Head Campus Inter-School Swimming Carnival
On Thursday 9 May, the Halls Head Campus competed in the Division C Inter-School Swimming Carnival, held at the MARC. We swam against some great competition from Riverside and St Joseph’s. We competed in the strokes of Freestyle, Breaststroke and Backstroke. The Frederick Irwin team worked incredibly hard and placed well in both individual and team events.
At the conclusion of the Carnival, six of our students were awarded the following Individual Medallions:
- Runner Up Champion Year 4 Girl- Elizabeth Bell
- Champion Year 4 Boy- Rayn Davis
- Champion Year 5 Girl- Masha Novoselskaia
- Runner Up Champion Year 5 Boy- Monty Stokes
- Champion Year 5 Boy- Jake Robinson
- Runner Up Champion Year 6 Boy- Spencer Olman
As a team, we were awarded the overall Champions of the Carnival, which was a real testament to the effort of all of the students who represented our team. We could not have been prouder of their hard work, great sportsmanship and effort in the pool. Well done team and Go Freddies!
