Inter-School PSSA Lightning Carnival
Halls Head and Meadow Springs Campus represented the School in Netball, Soccer and Volleyball at the Inter-School PSSA Lightning Carnival.
The Halls Head Soccer Team came second in their division, with great skill and determination shown throughout the Carnival. The team felt that with each game, their connection as a group got stronger and they were proud of their efforts.
The Volleyball teams worked incredibly well, improving with each game and supporting each other throughout.
The Halls Head Netball team, who have utilised recess and lunchtime’s to practice and improve their skills in the lead up to the Carnival, competed strongly throughout the Carnival and were awarded the Shield for overall champions of Division 2B. A big thank you to one of our parent’s, Ms Danielle Speedy, who coached our team on the day and offered a plethora of guidance and support.
The Meadow Springs teams all represented the School to the best of their ability, and it was great to see everyone representing Frederick Irwin Anglican School, they all made us proud!
