Meet the 2024 City of Mandurah Junior Council!
The Junior Council is made up of two Year 6 representatives from each of the 21 primary schools in Mandurah.
Congratulations to Frederick Irwin Anglican School students Jimmy Wong and Caden Meyers who were elected 2024 Junior Mayor and Junior Deputy Junior Mayor at our recent Junior Council elections.
Well done also to Molly Learmonth and Ella Pini for being apart of the Mandurah Junior Council.
Did you know that the City’s Junior Council was first established in 1985, providing young people with a voice in the community and to provide students with the opportunity to learn about governance and democracy, with a focus on Local Government.
Mandurah’s young people are an important part of our community and are the future of our City.
We can’t wait to see what these incredible young leaders achieve this year!
