Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week Activities

The Primary campuses at Halls Head and Meadow Springs have participated in a number of activities focusing on National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week.

At Halls Head the Year 6s and Year 2s took part in a buddy activity, planting the Native Hibiscus (the nominated Sorry Day flower symbol) in the Waangkaniny Dandjoo Boodja alongside Mrs Tracey Gray, Mrs Sue Kirke, Mrs Karen Bond and Canon James Tabor.

The other classes also took part in creating their own Native Hibiscus flowers in the art room.

At Meadow Springs, the students watched videos on the importance of sorry day.

On Friday 2 June, the Kindergarten to Year 2 students took part in an incursion with Gina and Guy, which is always a wonderful experience.
