Walk for Reconciliation 2023
As a part of our School’s celebration of National Reconciliation Week, some of our Primary Student Leaders and selected Secondary Prefects represented the School at the Walk for Reconciliation on Friday 2 June.
The Walk for Reconciliation took place at Kaarta Koomba (Kings Park), providing an opportunity to connect to Boodja and celebrate the living Noongar culture. The event started with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, and then journeyed through Kaarta Koomba (Kings Park). Students engaged in a range of cultural immersion opportunities including truth-telling, dancing, arts workshops and an opportunity to learn more about The Voice to Parliament.
The students representing the School were:
