Winter Sport: Netball 21
This year the girls from Halls Head campus (FIAS 21) played their very first games in competition.
They have scored a goal every game and it’s has been lovely to see them pass the ball down the court to each other, move into space, share the ball and score. Our defence has also been amazing with many intercepts and turn overs, too many to count.
The girls have shown a maturity beyond their years while caring for other teammates on the court who were nervous in our initial game and making sure everyone feels included and safe.
We played the Meadow Springs campus team last Friday (FIAS 22) and it was lovely to see both teams come together at the end of the game and celebrate that we are all “Freddie’s students” and have a big cheer for the whole school.
I’m immensely proud of the FIAS 21 students willingness to learn, listen, respect and enjoy the game of Netball. I am blessed to be their coach.
